The Plough is situated just outside of Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire and has the benefit of being in a quiet rural location away from the town.

Although popular and busy, The Plough is largely surrounded by quiet countryside and is highly regarded for its no nonsense fare, of good honest food, plenty of it and at sensible prices.

The towns of High Wycombe and Aylesbury are just a few miles away in opposite directions and there is a rail service to London Marylebone just minutes away by car. After a short drive of about ten minutes to Great Missenden, the shared Chiltern Railway/Metropolitan Line railway will take you to Baker Street in the heart of London.

The area is hugely popular with walkers and after a short woodland walk, alongside the pub, you can arrive at the top of Whiteleaf Hill, which provides sensational views over the Chiltern hills as far as Oxfordshire on a clear day.
